Elena Katherine Moore vanished after she left a Planet Fitness gym in Lexington, South Carolina, on June 11, 2026, according to the Lexington Police Department.

The identification followed a tip that led authorities to a wooded area where Moore’s body was found. The Lexington Police Department confirmed the clothing description of the deceased matched with the outfit Moore was last seen wearing.

Moore’s disappearance attracted significant attention after friends noted odd behavior in the period before she went missing. Sondra Campbell, a close friend, revealed that Moore expressed fear for her life during a May 31 encounter.
