Mustafa Ali at TNA Slammiversary: A Night of Surprise and Triumph

Mustafa Ali participated in Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s (TNA) Slammiversary event with anticipation, unsure who would accept his open challenge for the International Championship. Ali informed his audience through social media that Daria Rae, TNA’s director of operations, would announce his opponent during the Slammiversary pre-show. However, Ali decided he wouldn’t wait for the announcement and entered the ring during the pre-show.

As Rae prepared to reveal the news, TNA director of authority, Santino Marella, interrupted. Both Marella and Rae had opponents lined up for Ali, transforming the open challenge into a triple-threat match instead of a one-on-one contest.

The first competitor, Rich Swann, was revealed. Following him, Uhaa Nation made his TNA debut. Known as Apollo Crews in WWE, Nation held the intercontinental and U.S. championships there. Nation threw Ali out of the ring, shifting his focus to Swann to commence the match.

To cope with the strength and agility of his opponents, Ali had to persevere. He received assistance from Order 4 members Tasha Steelz and Special Agent Zero. They distracted Nation, allowing Ali to focus on Swann.

With Zero taking out Nation, Ali seized the opportunity to engage Swann in a one-on-one battle. He outmaneuvered Swann and executed a backslide pin with a bridge. The referee counted to three and Ali celebrated his victory.

Ali’s International Championship reign began in 2024, marking a significant achievement since joining the company. He won the X Division Championship and earned the title of X Division Star of the Year during his first year. Building the Order 4 faction around him, Ali has maintained an impressive winning streak.

In April, at Rebellion in Cleveland, Ali captured the TNA International Championship against Trey Miguel. Since then, he has consistently defended his title with success.
