Noah Kahan, a popular singer-songwriter, issued a firm warning to his fans following an unusual situation at one of his concerts. A video went viral after the Philadelphia leg of his “The Great Divide” tour, showing what seemed to be fecal matter on the floor at Citizens Bank Park.
Kahan urged concertgoers to ensure they take restroom breaks, drawing from his own past embarrassing on-stage incident. He humorously shared on X, “If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom.” He acknowledged his own mishap, “I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29-year-old but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1000-yard stare after dealing with that.”
During a Toronto tour stop, he encouraged fans to promise to uphold better bathroom standards. He had his audience recite, “I solemnly swear I will not s— my pants, and if I do, I won’t take it from my pants and put it on the floor.”
The event in Philadelphia highlighted what appeared to be a growing trend of poor bathroom habits at live music venues. A viral TikTok video showed floor seats near the alleged fecal matter, with some speculating it could have been dirt, while a security guard was reportedly seen urging a concertgoer to use the restroom.
Meanwhile, Olivia Rodrigo, another singer, recently mentioned experiencing unusual behaviors at her concerts. On KISS FM UK, she said some attendees wear diapers to remain in the front row, sharing, “and that’s been an experience as a performer that I have smelled.”
Kahan’s tour runs through various cities, having started in Orlando earlier this month and finishing in Paris. His recent album, “The Great Divide,” released in April, continues to showcase his musical evolution.
