Dr. Nirav Shah and Troy Jackson are two Democratic candidates who reacted swiftly. They traveled to Biddeford and participated in protests against Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). Mr. Jackson joined the demonstrators outside Senator Collins’s office, pledging to “abolish ICE.”
