The Freedom 250 Grand Prix has taken over downtown Washington and is set to unfold in the city this weekend. Events are scheduled for both Saturday and Sunday.
This summer in Washington began with a UFC fight held on the White House lawn. The season will end with the high-energy IndyCar race taking place on the streets surrounding the National Mall.
The President established the Freedom 250 Grand Prix through an executive order in January. This initiative has prompted much anticipation and excitement in the lead-up to the events.
