New York Mets Star Juan Soto Exits Game Due to Injury

“It’s improving for him,” noted interim manager Andy Green about Soto’s condition. “Hopefully after today, we don’t have to talk about it anymore.”

Soto’s involvement in the lineup is critical, as he represents the Mets’ sole All-Star selection this season. Exclusion from the team could significantly impact their performance. In 84 games this season, Soto boasts a batting average of .283 with 83 hits and 21 home runs. Soto is currently in the second year of a substantial 15-year, $765 million contract, which he signed with the Mets in December 2024.
