The committee disclosed it is extending a review of an issue reported to the Office of Congressional Conduct (OCC) on June 10, 2026. This step precedes deciding on a full investigation.

The notice indicated that the committee would decide on its actions by November 9.

It assesses these claims and determines if they require referral to the House Ethics Committee.
