Netanyahu Discusses His Relationship with Trump

6 days ago 0

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu provided insight into his working relationship with President Donald Trump. He dismissed the notion that either leader dominates the other’s decisions, highlighting an alliance built on respect, despite disagreements.

“We are allies. He’s the senior partner. We’re the junior partner, obviously, but we treat each other with tremendous respect,” Netanyahu said on the “Hanging Out with Sean Hannity” podcast.

Netanyahu acknowledged occasional differences with Trump but noted their agreement on key issues. “On the main things, we agree, and we respect each other, and I respect him enormously,” he shared.

He praised Trump’s leadership style, describing him as an “irreverent” leader unafraid to defy norms. “He just says what he thinks, and his basic instincts are always on target, and he cuts to the chase,” Netanyahu said.

The two leaders align on significant regional issues, such as preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear capabilities and promoting Middle East peace.

Netanyahu downplayed rumors about their power dynamic, joking about differing perceptions in the U.S. and Israel.

The full conversation with Netanyahu is available on various podcast platforms, including iHeart, YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.
