Investigation Update on Nancy Guthrie’s Disappearance

3 days ago 0

Six months after Nancy Guthrie vanished from her Tucson residence, the sheriff overseeing the case elaborated on Saturday why two alleged ransom notes were made public recently. Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos expressed hope that someone might recognize the unique language or phrasing used in the notes. He shared these insights in an interview-format video.

Nanos noted, “There are several details in these notes that could prompt someone to recall hearing something similar, or to recognize the style.” It remains uncertain whether the notes originated from the same person.

Authorities continue to actively examine tens of thousands of leads, videos, and forensic evidence in their ongoing search for the 84-year-old mother of “Today” co-host Savannah Guthrie.
