Rosie O’Donnell Attributes Renewed Fame to Trump Amid Ongoing Feud

2 hours ago 0

Rosie O’Donnell has credited President Donald Trump for her renewed fame, despite their ongoing feud. Speaking with Amy Poehler on “Good Hang,” O’Donnell playfully referred to Trump as “Mango Mussolini.” She suggested that Trump’s attention has inadvertently boosted her career.

O’Donnell and Trump have a history of public disagreements. O’Donnell moved to Ireland after Trump’s victory over Kamala Harris in the 2024 election. Meanwhile, O’Donnell has appeared on various podcasts and shows and is set to guest host Jimmy Kimmel’s show soon.

Recently, the White House referred to a Trump post on Truth Social highlighting O’Donnell, claiming she is “obsessed.” O’Donnell argues their feud persists because they share a background. Both were raised in New York, and she claims people sometimes comment on their similar speech patterns.

O’Donnell shared with Variety that she believes she reminds Trump of girls from his past who challenged him, suggesting their shared history contributes to their clashes. She further commented on Sophia Bush’s “Work in Progress” podcast, saying Trump’s obsession stems from being around tough girls like herself.

O’Donnell also hinted at a return to ABC’s “The View” for an upcoming anniversary episode, though the show’s producer, Brian Teta, stated no official invitations have been sent yet.
