Trey McBride’s Impressive Rise in the NFL Top 100

The Arizona Cardinals’ tight end, Trey McBride, has made a remarkable leap to No. 13 in the NFL Top 100 list for the upcoming season. This ranking is determined by votes from fellow active NFL players.

During a media session at the Cardinals’ training camp, McBride expressed his excitement about the new ranking. He mentioned he had learned about his position some time ago. ‘To be the 13th, wow,’ McBride said, acknowledging the outstanding players both ahead and behind him on the list.

Recognized as a Pro Bowl player, the 26-year-old McBride emphasized how special it is to receive respect from his peers across the league. He described his spot on the list as a ‘dream come true.’

In the previous season, McBride ranked 65th. His hard work has paid off, as seen in his career-best performance for the Cardinals last season. He recorded 126 receptions, 1,239 receiving yards, and 11 touchdowns, earning a second consecutive Pro Bowl appearance.

With NFL legends like Rob Gronkowski retired and Travis Kelce nearing the end of his career, McBride has the opportunity to emerge as one of the top tight ends. His journey will continue without long-time quarterback Kyler Murray, who now plays for the Minnesota Vikings. Veteran quarterback Jacoby Brissett will lead Arizona, and first-round draft pick Jeremiyah Love is expected to play a major role in their offense.

The focus remains on whether McBride can maintain his impressive stats or adapt to the new team dynamics.
