Investigation Continues into Flight Attendant’s Mysterious Death in Hawaii

The family of Jenny Lupton, a flight attendant from Moore, Oklahoma, has revealed the last text message she sent before her tragic death in Hawaii. Lupton, aged 50, died on August 20 from an apparent fall from a hotel balcony during a layover in Waikiki.

Her family has urged for an in-depth investigation, doubting the possibility of her death being a suicide. Authorities in Honolulu confirm that the investigation is still active.

According to her niece, Hannah Lupton, Jenny was enjoying her time in Hawaii. She engaged in activities like dancing and getting a tattoo, and she planned future activities with colleagues not long before her death. Hannah mentioned that Jenny had texted another flight attendant, asking about plans for the following day. This message was sent after the last one received by her family at approximately 11:40 p.m. on August 19.

Emergency responders arrived at the Hilton Hawaiian Village around 7:15 a.m. on August 20, where Lupton was pronounced dead.

Ongoing Investigation

On August 24, the Honolulu Police Department stated that their investigation remains ongoing without conclusive findings on the manner of Jenny’s death. The medical examiner has not yet released the cause or manner of her death.
