2 hours ago 0

Penta and Rey Fenix delivered an intense match on “Monday Night Raw” this year, competing for a chance at the World Heavyweight Championship. The highly-anticipated fight took place in Cleveland, Ohio, where the two luchadores faced off in the tournament finals. The winner, Penta, earned an opportunity to challenge Roman Reigns in Mexico City on September 14.

The bout witnessed both competitors exchanging high-risk maneuvers with fierce energy. At one point, Fenix countered an avalanche Mexican destroyer with a Mexican muscle buster, stunning the audience. The battle soon saw action outside the ring, where Fenix aimed for a decisive attack on the announcers’ desk. However, Penta reversed the situation, sending Fenix crashing through the table with a Penta Driver.

Back in the ring, Penta targeted Fenix’s arm and executed a final, devastating Mexican destroyer. Penta’s victory secured his chance for WWE glory. As the match concluded, Roman Reigns confronted Penta in the ring. Reigns, a seasoned champion who has faced the likes of Cody Rhodes and Brock Lesnar, will now prepare to face Penta’s distinct style.

It will be a significant moment should Penta upend Reigns in Mexico City and claim the heavyweight title.

As for Fenix, though he lost at Raw, he has promising opportunities ahead. He will participate in Triplemania 34, a major event organized by Lucha Libre AAA Worldwide. The spectacle spans two nights, with events in Las Vegas and Mexico City on September 11 and 13 respectively. Fenix is slated to defend his AAA World Cruiserweight Championship against Jack Cartwheel, Mini Vikingo, and Nathan Frazer. These competitors, after battling at Ola De Calor, will challenge Fenix at the prestigious event.
