Norman Backs Graham in South Carolina Senate Race

Rep. Ralph Norman, a Republican from South Carolina, expressed his support for Sen. Darline Graham, also a Republican, in the state’s U.S. Senate general election. In a post on social media, Norman emphasized his commitment to fighting against the ‘socialist Democrats’ and ‘RINOs’ who support them. He stated, ‘I respect the decision of South Carolina voters and congratulate Senator Darline Graham on winning the Republican nomination. I will support our Republican nominee in November because defeating the Democrats and protecting our conservative values must remain the priority.’

South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster appointed Graham, who is the sister of the late Senator Lindsey Graham, to fill the vacancy left by her brother’s passing in July. In August, with the backing of former President Donald Trump, Graham defeated Norman in the state’s special Republican U.S. Senate primary runoff. The endorsement from Trump played a significant role in Graham’s victory, marking a historic win.

During remarks following the runoff loss, Norman stated, ‘I will support the senator the best I can.’

However, Norman expressed concerns during an inquiry about his support for Graham. He noted that ‘she got all of her money from Washington D.C. The liberal PACs, Lisa Murkowski supported her. That’s concerning.’

Fox News Digital sought comments from Graham’s campaign and Murkowski’s office. The campaign did not respond promptly, and Murkowski’s office declined to comment.
