2 hours ago 0

Police in Illinois are actively searching for Alyssa Smith, a 24-year-old woman missing since September 30. She disappeared after a trip to Chicago with her boyfriend, Jacob Ray Caso, and did not return home, according to her mother, Rebecca Smith.

Rebecca has been using social media to spread awareness, posting pleas and flyers for her daughter’s safe return. Alyssa’s disappearance has left her family desperate for answers.

“No one is mad at you,” wrote Caso on social media while resharing a missing person’s poster for Smith.

The Palatine Police Department confirmed they have been diligently following leads and reports about Smith’s sightings. She was reportedly seen around October 3 near Chicago’s Grant Park, as well as near Cicero Avenue and Roosevelt Road.

Alyssa is described as a White female, approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing between 135 and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, several body piercings, and tattoos, including a “Pennywise” clown on her left shoulder. At her disappearance, she was believed to be wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, light khaki-colored pants or sweatpants, and white Adidas sneakers.

Authorities urge anyone with information about Smith’s whereabouts to contact local law enforcement or call 911 immediately. The investigation remains ongoing as police continue to verify sightings and gather information.

Fox News Digital has reached out to Jacob Ray Caso for comment, alongside requests to the Palatine Police Department for updates on the case. The community remains hopeful for Alyssa’s safe return.
