He shared his findings live on “Fox & Friends,” noting he only managed four hours of sleep with some REM sleep accounting for 14% and over 20% in deep sleep. He remarked on feeling relatively fresh and rejuvenated despite the limited rest.
Kilmeade highlighted, “You see the stress level spike just a little bit … as I make my way over to radio, my activity is going to pick up.”
During the day, his wearable tracked physiological responses in diverse environments, from stress during live broadcasts to exercise-induced exertion. Such devices are now integral to cardiology, offering early detection of conditions like atrial fibrillation.

Basman pointed out the reliability of the technology, citing “robust data” supporting the accuracy of metrics such as resting heart rate and heart rate variability. He stated that devices could identify serious conditions like atrial fibrillation, often undetectable during regular exams.
