Lucy Milgrim, a 10-year-old, is changing the fitness scene by lifting weights most adults would find challenging. She recently demonstrated her strength by deadlifting a 145-pound barbell in her garage gym in Long Island. Lucy, weighing just 58 pounds, marks another milestone in her fitness journey.

Under the guidance of her parents, Michelle and Brett Milgrim, Lucy follows a rigorous strength training routine. Her workouts include exercises like pull-ups and ring dips, which she performs with remarkable ease. Between her routines, Lucy shares stories about her school adventures and style preferences.

Lucy began her strength training at the age of 8. Since then, she has set three American records in powerlifting and excels in wrestling. Her achievements have made her a significant presence on social media platforms like Instagram and TikTok, managed by her parents. With 232,000 followers, her most-watched video, where she dead-lifted 180 pounds, boasts over 67 million views and 3.7 million likes.

Lucy’s interest in powerlifting sparked from watching her parents exercise at home. Her father, an attorney and wrestling coach, saw the potential benefits for her wrestling and agreed to train her.
