A man found himself in legal trouble for an unusual incident outside a Taco Bell in Florida. Thirty minutes past midnight, Brandon Irizarry, 28, allegedly exposed himself near the restaurant’s side door, accompanied by a pet fish.
The event unfolded in Palm Coast, leaving many puzzled. Irizarry faced charges when deputies from the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office discovered him with multiple pants pulled down. He seemed unaware of the police presence until it was too late. Upon realizing the situation, he attempted to cover up, but authorities had already intervened.
Irizarry was charged with unlawful exposure of sexual organs and was taken to the Sheriff Perry Hall Inmate Detention Facility. The sheriff’s office humorously commented on the arrest, with Sheriff Rick Staly stating, “In Flagler County, if you can’t keep your business inside your pants, you’ll end up at the ‘Green Roof Inn’, swimming with different company than your fish.”
Attention also turned to Irizarry’s pet, a betta fish in a plastic container, found in his backpack. The fish, named “Baja Blast” by deputies, was handed over to the Flagler County Humane Society. Staff there reported that the fish was in good condition.
Authorities issued a light-hearted reminder to locals, suggesting their late-night Taco Bell visits should involve food purchases rather than legal consequences.
