At Meridian Hill Park in Washington D.C., attendees gathered under sunny skies to celebrate a unique event centered around apples. The atmosphere was vibrant as people participated in what organizer Carl Endrulat described as ‘an exercise in silly joy.’
Endrulat, who organized the ‘Eat an Apple With Me’ event, shares his affection for a particular variety, the Pink Lady. Recalling a fond memory, he said, ‘The first time I ate a Pink Lady, it was the juiciest apple I have ever eaten. Now, each time I have one, it brings back that memory.’
Endrulat and his girlfriend, Jenny Mandl, enjoyed the event alongside fellow enthusiasts on Saturday. The gathering offered everyone a chance to unwind and celebrate the simple pleasures of enjoying fresh fruit.
