Watters asked El-Sayed if he found it acceptable for a parent to alter their child’s genitalia. El-Sayed responded by questioning Watters about his circumcision status. Watters clarified that circumcision is different from castration. El-Sayed argued that decisions should be left to parents, doctors, and patients, noting circumcision is a surgery.
