2 weeks ago 0

Danielle Fishel, known for her role as Topanga Lawrence on “Boy Meets World,” has shared her fitness secret, shunning traditional cardio workouts in favor of weightlifting. She disclosed this shift in her fitness regimen during an appearance at the Tribeca Festival, where she was present for her latest project, “Doc Meets World.” She stated, “I don’t do cardio anymore. I like to walk for 20 to 30 minutes after every meal, but I lift them weights, and it has made all the difference.”

The 45-year-old actress has joined other celebrities who have embraced strength training as they move away from prolonged cardio sessions. Weightlifting helps in building muscle and supports long-term health, and Fishel credits it with her improved well-being.

During the Tribeca Festival, Fishel reunited with former “Boy Meets World” castmates Rider Strong and Will Friedle. As they recalled their experiences of growing up in the spotlight, Strong reflected on his bond with Ben Savage, emphasizing Savage’s talent and the lessons learned from their time together on the show.

My friendship with Ben? Oh, that we were just amazing co-workers. He was so talented, and he taught me how to be a child actor really, because you know, I just didn’t know anything, and he was already a pro.

Strong and Friedle also discussed the challenges of child stardom. Friedle admitted there were moments when leaving Hollywood seemed possible, emphasizing the pull of the entertainment industry for those truly dedicated to it. “The love of needing to entertain,” kept Friedle in the industry.

“Boy Meets World” aired on ABC for seven seasons from 1993 to 2000, leaving a lasting impact on its cast members and audience alike.
