During Milan Fashion Week, Dolce & Gabbana unveiled a menswear collection that balanced the heat of Milan with the allure of a Sicilian beach vacation. The showcase featured models walking a runway adorned with seaside-inspired elements, donning laser-cut suits, short shorts, and airy knitwear.
Designers Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana enhanced the atmosphere with a video of a rocky coastline at sunset. Models navigated columns reminiscent of a Mediterranean terrace in swimwear and silk pajamas. As daylight emerged, the collection evolved with outfits designed for a seamless transition from the city heat to a coastal escape.
Notable pieces included oversized travel bags crafted from leather, suede, and raffia. Short shorts accentuated muscular legs, while loose-knit tops did the same for torsos. Suit jackets featured upright lapels and innovative back panels that unbutton for ventilation. Woven leather jackets and shoes highlighted the brand’s craftsmanship.
Signature embellishments such as rhinestones on denim and coral beading on suits and shirts added flair. Religious motifs appeared in cross necklaces and icon-style prints on T-shirts, adding depth to the collection.
The event concluded with models in all-white ensembles, capturing the essence of summer. Attendees in the front row included Polish soccer star Robert Lewandowski, NBA champion Kawhi Leonard, Italian actor Michele Morrone from Netflix’s ‘365 Days,’ and K-pop singer Soobin.
