For several years, a group of 20 Camp Saginaw alumni have been gathering to reminisce and share stories. These enthusiastic reunions focus on the unforgettable experiences at the camp.
The campmates originally connected in 1966. Brian Redman and Rick Elion, depicted in a memorable photograph, continue to nurture their friendships forged decades ago. Shared memories of camp life create a strong sense of community among the alumni.
During their time at Camp Saginaw, the concept of time appeared fluid. Activities like Color War, campfires, and morning reveille loosely organized the day. Each moment, whether a competitive race, a first romantic encounter, or another camp milestone, seemed to last forever. Yet, the eight-week camp period quickly vanished, leaving a lasting impression on all campers.
