On Friday night, occupants of two cars reportedly exchanged gunfire on Route 59 near Aurora Avenue, as per Naperville police. This incident took place around 9:20 p.m. in the 600 block of South Route 59, according to a police news release.
A witness provided information to officers that led them to the two involved vehicles. The occupants of these vehicles were interviewed by the police, but no charges have been filed. The police stated, “The parties involved were known to each other and there is no threat to the public.” Additionally, they confirmed that “there is no evidence to indicate anyone was injured as a result of the shooting.”
