1 hour ago 0

On Aug. 18, 2026, Wladimir Klitschko, the renowned Ukrainian boxer, expressed immense sorrow over the unexpected death of his former partner, Hayden Panettiere. In a heartfelt Instagram post, he described the profound impact the loss has had on his family, particularly highlighting Panettiere’s significant role in their lives.

Klitschko remembered Panettiere as a pivotal figure, not only during their time as partners but as the devoted mother of their daughter, Kaya. He shared a touching image of Kaya joyfully perched on Panettiere’s shoulders, reflecting on her impactful career and the challenges she faced in the entertainment industry.

“Nothing will erase the times we shared or the place she had in our lives,” Klitschko wrote. He pledged to honor her memory by speaking of her with respect and ensuring Kaya remembers her mother’s true essence.

Young and talented people like Hayden should not leave this world so soon.

Panettiere, known for her roles in “Heroes” and “Nashville,” passed away on Sunday at age 36. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office noted pending investigations into the cause of death. An autopsy revealed no signs of trauma. Authorities responded to a 911 call about a cardiac arrest at an apartment complex, with no foul play suspected.

Panettiere’s recent memoir, “This Is Me: A Reckoning,” shared revelations about her struggles with postpartum depression and addiction. She openly discussed relinquishing custody of Kaya in 2018, a decision linked to her mental health battles.

Despite not having custody, Panettiere maintained a strong connection with Kaya through visits and communication. She had expressed her enduring desire for Kaya’s presence in her life.

Klitschko and Panettiere got engaged in 2013, and she gave birth to Kaya in 2014. Panettiere later entered rehab and finalized Kaya’s custody arrangement with Klitschko when Kaya was nearly 3. Their engagement ended by 2018.
