Je’Von Evans and Penta Win Tag Team Titles at WWE Crown Jewel

1 hour ago 0

In a thrilling match at WWE Crown Jewel in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, Je’Von Evans and Penta claimed the World Tag Team Championship from Bron Breakker and Austin Theory. The event took place on November 7, 2026, at The Venue, marking a significant moment in WWE history.

Bron Breakker and Austin Theory, also known as The Vision, believed they held an advantage entering the match. Maxxine Dupri was already causing interference at ringside, targeting Penta. Suddenly, Bronson Reed emerged from the crowd, attacking both Penta and Evans. This initially suggested a successful defense for Breakker and Theory.

The turning point arrived when the arena lights went out, and Oba Femi appeared on stage to a loud ovation. Reed charged up the ramp to confront him, leading to a brief brawl. Femi’s uppercut sent Reed off the stage, crashing through multiple tables below. This distraction shifted the momentum away from Breakker and Theory.

Penta capitalized with a big splash on Breakker from the top rope. Evans tagged in, executing a Mexican Destroyer on Theory, followed by the OG Cutter. Evans then pinned Theory, capturing the tag team titles for himself and Penta.

Breakker and Theory’s reign ended after 123 days. They had previously won the titles from The Street Profits in July, aided by Dupri. Despite their potential as WWE’s future stars, The Vision’s tenure as champions involved limited title defenses, putting them on equal footing with Penta and Evans in this match.

The loss serves as a reminder for The Vision to refocus. The group, seen as WWE’s future, faces challenges, including recent injuries and shifting dynamics with figures like Femi now in play.
