1 month ago 0

Maitland Ward, known for her roles in “The Bold and the Beautiful” and “Boy Meets World,” has shared insights about her strained relationship with former co-stars Danielle Fishel, Ryder Strong, and Will Friedle. Her revelations came during an interview with Fox News Digital.

Ward expressed feelings of betrayal following a contentious exchange on the “Pod Meets World” podcast. She noted, “We have not spoken at all. There’s been no contact, except when I offered my support for Fishel during her ‘Dancing with the Stars’ run.” Despite this, Ward emphasized no ill will exists between her and the trio.

“I still feel betrayed by the situation because I do think I was set up,” Ward explained. “I was taken very much off guard in that situation. And it makes me sad.”

During the podcast episode, tensions arose when Fishel questioned whether Ward disliked them. Ward responded by denying any animosity and mentioned confusion about past tensions during the “Girl Meets World” production.

Fishel described the “Girl Meets World” set as a difficult environment and apologized for any misconceptions Ward had. The conversation turned heated, with Ward accusing the podcast of seeking conflict for attention.

Ward later recalled feeling “bullied” during the podcast episode due to the dynamic with her former colleagues. She mentioned the experience felt like revisiting old grievances, making the interaction feel toxic.

Despite the discord, Ward showed support for Fishel during her “Dancing with the Stars” participation. “It really was a genuine moment,” Ward commented, offering encouragement after Fishel’s elimination.

Ward remarked, “We had a lot of conflict last year, but that doesn’t mean that I wouldn’t support her.” She expressed hope for future reconciliation and emphasized their lasting connection akin to a family bond.
