Emergency crews and police officers responded quickly, arriving shortly after 6 p.m. The Seattle Police advised people to avoid the area as they managed the situation. As of now, no information has been released about any suspects being detained.

Witnesses at the scene described the chaos. Kayla Carris, a 22-year-old attendee, reported that she was near the Armory when the shooting started. She recounted people screaming and running into the Seattle Center Armory for safety. “Everyone was just throwing stuff and running,” Carris shared with The Seattle Times.
