Michelle Monaghan is embracing her Indonesian adventure. The 50-year-old actress shared vacation photos, enjoying the country’s clear blue waters in a vibrant bikini. In one playful image, she stands thigh-deep in the sea with arms outstretched. She paired her multicolored swimsuit with a large woven sun hat.
The photos show Monaghan enjoying the stunning backdrop of Indonesia, with gold accents and a tranquil shoreline visible. In another photo, she poses relaxed, wearing the same bikini, hand resting on her sun hat in the turquoise water. Her hair, wet from the sea, flows beneath the hat as a rocky coastline can be seen in the distance.
Monaghan made the most of her time, celebrating in the shallow waters with raised arms, a cup in hand, and a boat visible on the horizon. Fans praised her vacation spirit, commenting on her natural affinity for such picturesque settings.
This trip marks Monaghan’s second visit to Indonesia. She discussed this on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” sharing her family’s love for big adventures. Her initial trip introduced her to the country’s allure and inspired a return to visit Komodo National Park after learning about the famed Komodo dragons from Robert De Niro.
Monaghan has spoken openly about staying active as she turns 50. In a May 2026 interview with Fox News Digital, she reflected on aging, noting a shift in her health and fitness approach. “Turning 50 has been a transformative experience,” she stated. “I’m more intentional about my time and activities.”
She expresses that reaching this milestone has led her to maximize how she spends time with people and herself. Monaghan also feels physically stronger than she did in her 30s. Strength training has become central to her routine, especially important as she navigates midlife and perimenopause.
Her weekly regimen includes three strength training sessions, alongside walking, hiking, jogging, and Pilates when possible. “I commit to strength training early in the morning. It energizes my day,” she said. Monaghan enjoys balancing high-intensity workouts with lower-impact activities like Pilates, emphasizing flexibility and breath control.
