Miley Cyrus marked a significant career highlight by receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. At 33, the singer and actress donned a striking black Versace dress featuring a halter neckline, sheer cutouts, and intricate lace designs at the ceremony.
Her outfit was completed with minimal jewelry, including a few bracelets and a ring. She opted for straight blonde hair and a dark smoky eye makeup look, complemented by natural lipstick.
“What feels so special to me about this star is that it’s an accumulation of devotion,” Cyrus said during her speech. “The star isn’t something that you win like a seasonal game. It’s not something you can chase or collect. It’s not something you make the next record for and then tote it around like a trophy.”
Miley Cyrus was joined by her fiancé Maxx Morando, her mother Tish, sister Brandi, and friends like designer Donatella Versace and actress Anya Taylor-Joy. Both Versace and Taylor-Joy spoke at the event, highlighting Cyrus’s achievements.
Anya Taylor-Joy praised Cyrus for surpassing expectations and challenging norms. She remarked that Cyrus often “set them on fire in a teddy bear costume,” emphasizing her bold and unconventional path.
Miley Cyrus gained fame as the lead in Disney Channel’s “Hannah Montana” at age 13. The show aired for over four years, including a tour where Cyrus performed as her character. Reflecting on the show’s role in her life, Cyrus stated, “‘Hannah Montana’ is the beginning for everything that I’ve been able to become — the person that I’ve been able to become. She is such a part of me and taught me everything that I know.”
After “Hannah Montana” ended in 2011, Cyrus pursued a music career under her name, releasing nine studio albums and receiving three Grammy Awards.
Miley Cyrus recently celebrated the show’s legacy with the “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special” on Disney Plus.
