Minnesota Voters Select Congressional Nominees

1 hour ago 0

In Minnesota, voters are selecting nominees for each of the state’s eight congressional districts. The current representatives are seeking reelection in all districts except for the 2nd Congressional District. In this district, Democrat Angie Craig has opted to run for a Senate position.

In 2024, Craig secured her seat with a margin of 13 percentage points. Despite her past success, Republicans see this as a chance to gain control of the district. This has generated interest in the upcoming election as each party aims to strengthen its representation in Congress.

As the elections approach, eyes are on how the balance of power might shift. With incumbents largely running for their seats again, except for District 2, any changes will be closely scrutinized.
