Bert McCarty, a Clemson University expert in turfgrass, noted Trump’s expertise and love for golf influences his grass-related decisions.

He once promised Washington parks would rival famous golf courses like Augusta. However, Trump measures success against his Trump’s National Golf Club in Northern Virginia.
