Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs Involved in Prison Altercation

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, a well-known music mogul, found himself in solitary confinement following a confrontation at the Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix, New Jersey. The incident reportedly began after a fellow inmate insulted Combs, leading to a heated exchange. The argument quickly escalated into a physical fight, with both parties trading shoves and punches before security intervened.

A source indicated that Combs managed to defend himself during the scuffle. As a result, he was placed in solitary confinement. It remains unclear whether he is still isolated as of Friday morning. The institution stated, “We are not at liberty to disclose or provide internal information pertaining to any inmate in our custody.”

Currently, Combs is serving a 50-month sentence after being convicted in July 2025 on charges related to transporting individuals for prostitution. This followed a federal sex trafficking trial in New York. His arrest occurred at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Midtown, shortly after his former girlfriend, singer Cassandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura, accused him of rape along with years of mental and physical abuse. Although this lawsuit was resolved swiftly, it led to more than 100 civil lawsuits against him.

Combs’ release is tentatively scheduled for February 2028, dependent on maintaining good behavior. It is uncertain whether this recent altercation will affect his release timeline.
