Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) has made notable changes to its talent and personnel roster. Anthem Sports & Entertainment, the parent company of TNA, confirmed in a press release that pro wrestling legend Tommy Dreamer and former TNA world champion Tessa Blanchard have parted ways with the company. Fox News Digital validated Blanchard’s departure earlier this week.
TNA Wrestling today announced a workforce reduction, designed to streamline operations and sharpen strategic focus and profitability,” the organization stated.
The departures were part of TNA’s efforts to adjust its creative leadership team swiftly. Tommy Dreamer, who provided services in TNA’s Creative and Talent Relations Departments, is leaving after a mutual agreement with the company. TNA also confirmed its release of Tessa Blanchard. A statement from TNA expressed good wishes for both individuals and other departing personnel in their future endeavors.
Dreamer openly discussed his exit in an interview with ‘Busted Open Radio.’ Pro wrestler Sami Callihan also announced his departure from TNA. He shared his unexpected release through a message on X, humorously noting his initial belief he was in line for a creative position before his departure was confirmed. Despite this, he urged fans to support Pro Wrestling Revolver, marking his next career move.
Dreamer, Blanchard, and Callihan are among the latest exits impacting the wrestling promotion. Earlier in the month, TNA confirmed the departures of Steve Maclin and Myla Grace. This series of changes points to a transitional phase within the company.
