1 hour ago 0

The Trump administration is proposing new guidelines aimed at overhauling the Head Start program. This initiative could significantly alter its operations nationwide.

Head Start was launched in 1965 during President Johnson’s War on Poverty. The program currently serves 700,000 children aged three to five, alongside 160,000 infants and toddlers through Early Head Start.

Amna Nawaz had a conversation with Coral Davenport of The New York Times to discuss these proposed changes.
