1 month ago 0

President Donald Trump directly contacted FIFA’s head during a critical moment for U.S. soccer. He received daily updates, and the White House extended its legal team to assist U.S. Soccer with the appeal process. This action followed the U.S. soccer team’s victory over Bosnia-Herzegovina.

The FIFA president, Gianni Infantino, met with President Trump in March, at the Oval Office. This strategic alliance aimed to overturn the red card received by U.S. striker Folarin Balogun. Preserving Balogun’s eligibility was crucial for the upcoming World Cup match against Belgium.
