2 weeks ago 0

The FBI has undergone a transformation reminiscent of the UFC as Washington prepares to host a one-of-a-kind sporting event on the White House grounds. In a recent video release, FBI Director Kash Patel announced a partnership with the UFC, which involved approximately 300 federal agents undergoing hand-to-hand combat training in preparation for UFC Freedom 250.

Patel expressed gratitude for the partnership on social media, highlighting the training’s effectiveness in equipping agents with new tactics to protect American lives. Footage from the training sessions was shared alongside his comments.

FBI Director Kash Patel has expressed interest in fostering a relationship with the UFC, a sentiment echoed by the FBI’s Rapid Response team. They shared footage of the joint training sessions, calling it an encounter between ‘the greatest fighters in the world and the greatest cops in the world.’

UFC lightweight contender Justin Gaethje featured prominently in the footage. Previously this year, he assisted in training FBI agents at the agency’s Special Agent Academy in Quantico, Virginia. More recent footage showed Gaethje utilizing the FBI Headquarters for his preparations for an upcoming lightweight title fight against Ilia Topuria during UFC Freedom 250.

In a related event, President Donald Trump welcomed UFC fighters Ilia Topuria, Justin Gaethje, and Ciryl Gane to the Oval Office on May 6, 2026, to discuss the upcoming UFC Freedom 250 match. The event is scheduled for June 14 and will take place outside the White House. Fighters are expected to utilize the Eisenhower Executive Office Building as locker rooms before entering ‘The Claw,’ a sizable Octagon structure set on the South Lawn.

Additionally, adrenaline enthusiast Travis Pastrana is preparing an opening stunt that promises to captivate audiences. A video shared earlier teased the possibility of Pastrana performing a dirt bike backflip over the South Lawn.

The collaboration between federal agents and UFC fighters, Gaethje’s training at FBI headquarters, and a UFC event happening on White House grounds are a testament to an unprecedented level of cooperation and creativity.
