Olympic gold medalist Bode Miller has been arrested on charges related to drugs, as reported by TMZ Sports. Miller, who has won six Olympic medals, faces charges of possessing a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia. After posting a $5,000 bond, Miller was released from custody.

Bode Miller, known for his contributions to alpine skiing, is scheduled to appear in court on July 29. He has entered a plea of not guilty to the charges. His Olympic career began at the 2002 Salt Lake City Games, where he secured two silver medals. In 2010, he achieved a gold medal in the super-combined event, a silver in the Super-G, and a bronze in downhill skiing.

Despite challenges, Miller is recognized as the most successful male American alpine skier, with accomplishments beyond the Olympics. He won four World Championship golds and 33 World Cup races. Additionally, he claimed the World Cup title in 2005 and 2008, becoming the only skier to achieve at least five victories across each discipline of the sport.

Miller retired from professional skiing in 2017, leaving behind a legacy that includes not only Olympic achievements but also significant victories and contributions to the sport of alpine skiing.
