Flight Restrictions at Reagan National Due to July 4th Celebrations

1 week ago 0

Reagan National Airport will temporarily halt flights on July 4 to facilitate flyovers and fireworks as part of the nation’s 250th Independence Day celebrations. The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority (MWAA) announced on Tuesday that no flights are scheduled at National Airport past 12 p.m. on this day.

Additionally, there will be no flights scheduled for several hours in the early afternoon of July 3. Travelers are advised to confirm flight schedules near other 250th-anniversary events this summer to avoid disruptions.
