Justice Department’s Accusation of Protesters as Antifa Members Leads to Extended Sentences

In recent developments across two federal courts, a group of protesters, identified by the Justice Department as affiliated with Antifa, received extended prison sentences. These nine individuals faced arrest for their involvement in demonstrations outside a migrant detention center in Texas. The protest took a violent turn with a police officer suffering gunshot wounds.

Justice correspondent Ali Rogin provides additional insight on the situation through discussions with former federal prosecutor Paul Butler.
