Aaron Rodgers Focuses on Family as He Enters Final NFL Season

2 weeks ago 0

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers is preparing for what he anticipates to be his final season in the NFL. At age 42, Rodgers is also dedicating time to his personal life, sharing moments with family on social media.

Rodgers recently posted photos on Instagram featuring his mother, father, older brother Luke, Luke’s wife Aimee, and their young children. The caption was concise, stating “Another bonding week. #fam,” highlighting the significance of family time.

Historically, Rodgers has been estranged from his family, a separation going back to at least 2014, as reported by People magazine. His younger brother, Jordan Rodgers, brought the family dynamics to public light during his appearance on “The Bachelorette” in 2016, where he discussed the familial disagreements with JoJo Fletcher.

A source told PEOPLE that the friction was fueled by sibling rivalry, culminating in a dispute that involved their parents.

Aaron Rodgers reportedly missed his brothers’ weddings, Luke’s in 2019 and Jordan’s in 2022. However, as his football career approaches its conclusion, there might be a shift toward reconciliation.

Rodgers Eyes Retirement

After a highly successful tenure with the Green Bay Packers that included winning a Super Bowl, Rodgers faced challenges during his time with the New York Jets and now the Steelers.

As Rodgers prepares for his last professional season with Pittsburgh, he has confirmed his impending retirement. With a distinguished career likely leading to the Hall of Fame, Rodgers will explore future ventures. He has previously expressed interest in hosting “Jeopardy!” and possibly entering the political arena.
