If both Williams and Bagent are unavailable, the Bears will turn to veteran Case Keenum. Keenum hasn’t started an NFL game since 2023, marking a potential comeback should he be called upon. This decision comes as Bagent entered the Bears’ game against the Minnesota Vikings, stepping in post-Williams’ injury. His performance was cut short when Dallas Turner sacked him during a crucial play.

Veteran Case Keenum, with 66 starts in 80 NFL games, would become the team’s choice if both first and second-string quarterbacks are unavailable. This would make the Bears Keenum’s eighth team in his NFL run.
Keenum last participated in regular-season play during 2023 with the Houston Texans, achieving a 1-1 record in his appearances. Previously, he had a successful 2-0 stint with the Cleveland Browns in 2021. The decision for Keenum’s return adds intrigue to the Bears’ current quarterback situation.
