EA Sports announced its newest player ratings, highlighting the top talents at quarterback, running back, and wide receiver.
Top Quarterbacks Revealed
Matthew Stafford, the reigning league MVP, and Josh Allen from the Buffalo Bills led the quarterback ratings, each earning a spot in the esteemed 99 Club. Despite their tie, Stafford is ranked slightly higher than Allen. Other notable quarterbacks include Joe Burrow with a 97 rating, followed by Baltimore Ravens’ Lamar Jackson. Kansas City Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes received a 93 rating, while Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions rounded out the top 10 with an 88 rating.
Elite Wide Receivers and More
Joining Stafford and Allen in the 99 Club are wide receivers Ja’Marr Chase and Jaxon Smith-Njigba, along with defensive end Myles Garrett and tight end Trey McBride. Notably, the Seattle Seahawks extended Smith-Njigba’s contract, making him the highest-paid receiver in NFL history. Chase has consistently surpassed the 1,000-yard mark each season since 2021. Additional top wide receivers include Puka Nacua, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Justin Jefferson. Mike Evans, who transitioned from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers to the San Francisco 49ers, ranks at No. 10.
Leading Running Backs
Detroit Lions standout Jahmyr Gibbs leads all running backs with an impressive 98 rating. Christian McCaffrey follows with a 97, reflecting his recovery season. Jonathan Taylor and Bijan Robinson each hold a 95 rating, with Rams player Kyren Williams completing the top 10.
