Jessie Cave Shares How OnlyFans Transformed Her Career

2 hours ago 0

In a candid conversation with The Times, Jessie Cave, known for her role in “Harry Potter,” discussed the impact of OnlyFans on her life and finances. At 39, the actress revealed she earned significantly more from the subscription platform in a single year than throughout her entire acting career.

Cave initially expected modest earnings, planning to make about $5,000 and use the time to plan her next steps. However, being on the platform for over a year and a half has significantly improved her financial situation.

The actress charges $6 monthly for non-explicit hair-related content. This includes videos of her styling her hair in various ways, as requested by her followers. Remarkably, she gained more income on OnlyFans in one year than from her acting projects.

Jessie Cave’s breakthrough came with her portrayal of Lavender Brown in the final three Harry Potter films between 2009 and 2011. She also appeared on shows like “Black Mirror” and “Industry.” Her move to OnlyFans was driven by financial pressures, following a rejected audition callback, and her responsibility towards her four children, whom she shares with fiancé Alfie Brown.

Cave explained that her circumstances made it difficult to work typical jobs due to childcare costs. She couldn’t pursue further education due to financial constraints. Feeling at a crossroads in her acting career, the platform offered a viable alternative.

The actress shared her success on the platform, making over $20,200 in one day. She emphasized that while OnlyFans is known for adult content, it hosts a variety of other content types, including cooking and personal training, with an appealing twist.

Cave’s rules for her OnlyFans content focus on her hair as the central feature. She noted the platform’s breadth, catering to various interests beyond adult content, and expressed how engaging with her audience helped her overcome feelings of invisibility after having children.

Looking forward, Cave sees potential for other artists to explore alternative platforms for additional income when not actively pursuing their primary careers.

In March 2025, she initially shared her OnlyFans venture, aiming to alleviate debt burdens and invest in home improvements. Cave used her Substack platform to express her goals of financial stability, empowerment, and investing in personal growth.
