1 day ago 0

Aaron Rodgers recently addressed rumors about his teammate Drew Allar during an appearance on the “Not Just Football with Cam Heyward” podcast. Rodgers, known for his sense of humor, discussed the alleged “racy” direct messages attributed to Allar that surfaced in 2025. These messages were linked to Allar, who joined the Pittsburgh Steelers as a third-round draft pick in 2026.

Rodgers clarified the situation, saying, “For pop culture fans, there’s some gossip about Drew. He asked me to assure everyone that the messages are false and were fabricated, but they gained some attention. They’re a bit on the racy side.” Rodgers emphasized that Allar is in a committed relationship and the rumors have no basis.

Allar and his long-time girlfriend, Emma Bush, have been dating since high school, and they appear to remain strong. Bush recently posted a video on TikTok celebrating seven years together. This resilient couple isn’t let internet rumors affect them.

Recalling his initial reaction to the rumors, Rodgers shared, “When I heard about Drew Allar, my first thought was about the DM topic. It circulated through the quarterback community, and I remember thinking, ‘Oh man.'”

Rodgers, now 43, is embarking on what may be his final NFL season with the Steelers. He expressed how much he enjoys working with the current roster that includes Mason Rudolph, Will Howard, and Drew Allar. Rodgers mentioned the friendly atmosphere in the Steelers QB room.

Despite the rumor, Allar, aged 22, handled the situation well, demonstrating professionalism in the locker room. Rodgers recounted their conversation, “I asked him, ‘Did the DM rumors cause any trouble for you?’ He confidently responded, noting his long-standing relationship.”

Rodgers also expressed his anticipation of supporting his family post-retirement, highlighting how much this NFL season means to him.
