Flooding problems present a substantial challenge to the president’s goal of developing a championship golf course at East Potomac Park. During his visit in June, President Donald Trump reviewed plans showcasing his vision for the historic East Potomac Golf Links. These plans included redesigned holes that extend toward the peninsula’s perimeter and adjacent water areas.

“Flooding is a major concern,” a spokesperson emphasized, highlighting the importance of addressing this issue.
