In 2025, Arizona Cardinals’ wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr. struggled with injuries, limiting him to 12 games. As he enters the 2026 season, fans hope to see him reclaim his status as a premier wideout in the NFL.
Unfortunately, the start of the season hasn’t been promising. Over the first two games, Harrison has caught only one pass and was targeted four times. This is concerning because quarterback Jacoby Brissett has attempted 65 passes during these games, highlighting Harrison’s decreased involvement.

Despite the Cardinals’ longstanding playoff drought and the challenging NFC West, Harrison’s lack of performance remains troubling. His rookie season in 2024 saw him leading the team with eight touchdown receptions and ranking second in total targets. However, in 2026, he’s on track for zero touchdowns and just 34 targets.
Harrison’s past performances were impressive, including consecutive 1,200-yard seasons at Ohio State and a fourth-place finish in the Heisman Trophy voting. Expectations were high when Arizona selected him fourth overall, but recent games show he’s struggling in his third NFL year.
