The NFL trade deadline is approaching, with less than a month left. Many believe several trades will occur before the deadline. One team to watch is the Cleveland Browns. NFL insider Jordan Schultz suggests the Browns may consider trading veteran wide receiver Jerry Jeudy.
Schultz reports that Cleveland seeks a third- or fourth-round pick for Jeudy. Jeudy, 27, joined the Browns in 2024. Cleveland traded the Denver Broncos their 2024 fifth and sixth-round picks to acquire him, subsequently signing him to a three-year, $58 million contract extension.
In 2024, Jeudy performed well, securing a career-high 90 catches for 1,229 yards and scoring four touchdowns. However, his production fell in 2025. With impressive performances from rookie wide receivers KC Concepcion and Denzel Boston, Jeudy is seen as expendable.
There’s uncertainty about which teams might be interested in acquiring Jeudy. Although he has not entirely met the high expectations of a first-round pick, his talent remains evident.
Potential trade discussions will consider if a third- or fourth-round pick is suitable for a player whose peak performance might have passed.
Drafted No. 15 overall by the Broncos in the 2020 NFL Draft, Jeudy boasts 359 catches for 4,965 yards and 17 touchdowns over his career.
