2 hours ago 0

In a city filled with stars, Josh Allen had his eyes set on one special person after the Buffalo Bills’ win on Monday night: his wife. Following a thrilling 37-34 overtime victory against the Los Angeles Rams at SoFi Stadium, Allen looked into the stands for “Sinners” star Hailee Steinfeld.

Footage captured Allen asking, “Is my wife in one of these suites somewhere?” His inquiry was recorded by Spectrum News 1. Meanwhile, during the “Monday Night Football” broadcast, Steinfeld was spotted enthusiastically cheering for her husband, chanting phrases of encouragement.

The second half of the game was intense, with the Bills and Rams exchanging scores until the match went into overtime. Initially, things seemed dire for Allen, who faced the prospect of an eighth straight overtime loss following a fumble by running back James Cook. However, the Bills’ hopes were revived when linebacker Greg Rousseau blocked a potential game-winning field goal by the Rams.

With a renewed opportunity, Allen drove the Bills back into scoring position, leading to Tyler Bass successfully making a 45-yard field goal that sealed their win. This marked Allen’s first overtime victory, improving his record to 1-7 in such games.

Throughout the match, the Rams’ defense effectively contained Allen’s passing, limiting him to 210 yards, one touchdown, and one interception on 12-of-19 attempts. Nevertheless, Allen made a significant impact as a runner, gaining 121 yards and scoring one rushing touchdown.

As the Bills prepare to face the Las Vegas Raiders, Allen hopes to repeat his success and locate Steinfeld in the crowd if she attends the game. The match against the Raiders is scheduled for Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
