President Donald Trump announced his commitment of more than $400 million to assist Republicans in the upcoming midterm elections. This figure includes $300 million already allocated towards advertisements, voter outreach, and rallies.
In a social media post, Trump expressed his honor in supporting the Republican Party. His total spending pledge ranges between $400 million and $500 million, leaving funds available for future political activities.
“It is my Great Honor to do so on behalf of the Republican Party,” Trump stated.
The funds are sourced from a super PAC, MAGA Inc., and a nonprofit ally, Securing American Greatness. MAGA Inc. has a financial disclosure deadline with the Federal Election Commission, which will include details on donations over $200. However, the nonprofit’s donors remain undisclosed.
Overall, FEC reports indicate MAGA Inc. and related super PACs have spent over $244 million on communication methods and media. Trump also mentioned efforts towards “Election Integrity,” aimed at preventing voter fraud.
